Set of antique wine goblets in 800/- silver
In 1860, Johann Stanislaus Nepomuk Kühn, a native of Vienna, founded his company in Schwäbisch Gmünd with three journeymen. In 1900, the Gebr. Kühn company achieved international renown when it won a silver medal in the tableware category at the World's Fair in Paris. In 1911, there was a Grand Prix for functional design at the International Industrial Exhibition in Turin.
Exceptional set of four wine goblets in silver. Smooth stand base, plain cylindrical body. Gilded interior. On the wall framed cartouche with monogram in typical neo-rococo with rocailles and floral motifs. Marked by Gebr. Kühn, dated 1898.
