Pair of Antique Empire Saliers in Silver with Cobalt Blue Glass Inserts
Splendid spice or salt bowls (Salieren) from the Empire around 1800. Light, playful, oval and classicistic form. Standing on four claw feet and ending with lion heads. Centre with unengraved cartouches and garlands. Oval, cobalt blue glass bowls. Matching spoons. Condition very good with patina, no damage to the glass! Marked with an unknown master mark.
