Rich decorated wine bottle holder from the Art Nouveau time. Flat bottom, standing on three ball feets and rich open worked cylindrical walls. Walls decorated with wine tendrils, with leaves and grapes. In the front part is a free shield for engravings. Scalopped rim with pearl frieze. Marked, made in the silverware manufactory of Adolf Mayer sen. in Frankfurt a. M./Germany, about 1900.
