Rare small needle case from the German Biedermeier time, decorated with rich repoussé work. Flat stand, basket-shaped body and hinged lid. Walls rich decorated with roses relief and bands, lid decorated with a huge flower. Stand with engraved monogram "G L H F." Marked, city assay mark for Leer in East Frisia, master mark probably "G", master name not known, created about 1840.
