Antique silver ware from our stock Beautiful antique cigarette box from the late Art Nouveau period. Rectangular body with rounded sides and hinged lid. Closure decorated with a red garnet cabochon. Lid decorated with different overlay motifs: a monogramm "WA" and two words "Salut" and "Lilly". Collecting of such overlays was in the early 20th century a popular hobby. Inside gold plated, lid inside with engraving "Meelesta Salmet 22.1.29.". The box is marked: master mark Edward Radus, gold resp. silversmiths in Tallinn/Estonia in the time appr. 1905-1923.
