Gorgeous porcelain tea box with the world wide famous onion pattern. Flat base, rectangular body with cut corners, flat shoulder, cylindrical neck with horizontal, wide rim. High knob-shaped stack lid. Blue onion pattern under glaze. Made in the porcelain manufactory in Meissen, Marcolini-period, marked. Early A-series number, dated about 1775/80. Condtion excellent, no chips. Measures appr. 4 x 2,75 inch
