In England, scones are served with afternoon tea. Traditionally, you cut open the freshly baked scones, spread the bottom half first with plenty of strawberry jam, then a decent blob of clotted cream, and then put the top half of the scone on top. The result is the British specialty that must not be missing on any teatime table.
Very rare is an almost unused usgereatteter Scones basket from the 50s. Consisting of 6 plates, a scones plate and cutlery. Also the original box is in very good condition. Marked, made by John Batt & Co. in Sheffield, England.
