This beautiful vintage jewellery pendant from the 1950s or 1960s is a real unique piece. It is made of 925/- silver and has an almost square cavity surrounded by a wide frame with rounded edges. Inserted into the frame are differently coloured abalone shell pieces in irregular shapes that look like a mosaic.

The abalone shell is a genus of large snails that has a pearly interior. The shell material is available in different colours, from light tones like white and silver to darker tones like blue and green. All colours are represented in this pendant, giving it a unique and stunning look.

The pendant is attached to a snake shaped silver chain. The chain is in good condition and has a length of approx. 49.5 cm.
