Moss agate pendant with chain from the 1960 / 70s
From a mineralogical point of view, green moss agate is a chalcedony with green dendrites. The moss agate has also been used as a gem since the 1950s. Since the green banded aggregates are strikingly drawn, the moss agate used for jewelry or handicrafts is becoming increasingly popular. Gemstones in moss-colored green are particularly popular.
Wonderful large pendant with moss agate. The highly oval, delicate dark green cabochon in the frame setting is surrounded by an oval silver setting. In addition, blackened, rod-shaped elements were inserted. Including a long chain with a lobster clasp. Made in the 60s / 70s, very good condition.
