Moonstone is a variety of Orthoclase and was named after its bluish-white shimmer. This shimmer comes out particularly well in the cabochon cut and sometimes also shows the coveted cat eye effect.
This bracelet is probably a Scandinavian design. The oval moonstones, which are cut in the cabochon, were inserted into the frame in the shape of a rectangular bracelet. The polished, worked surface makes the bracelet something special. The production in 925 silver probably took place in the 1960s, the manufacturer is unknown. Condition: very good.
