Vintage bookends with carp - zamak and marble around 1950
Zamak refers to a family of alloys that consist mainly of zinc and that contain aluminum, copper and small amounts of magnesium as alloy metals.
A beautiful pair of bookends with carp made of zamak on a beautiful base made of pink-beige veined marble. From France around 1950. Both are in good condition, the marble also shows no defects.
