The jewelery company David-Andersen was founded in 1876. Andersen was considered a talented silver and goldsmith in Norway. After his early death in 1901, his son Arthur Andersen took over the business and made other beautiful jewelry collections. David-Anderson jewelry is considered worldwide as the epitome of high-quality jewelry. The successful family business today run Uni and Jon David-Andersen.
In the 50s, this beautiful, enamelled copper pendant was made by Unn Tangerud for David Andersen. The jewelry by Unn Tangerud testifies to simple sophistication, often inspired by ancient Nordic culture. She mainly works with silver, bronze or copper with semi-precious stones or enamel.
