Rare Pair of Antique Silver Plated Meat Covers with Magnificent Handle
A rare pair of silver-plated cloches with removable handles in the shape of red deer from England. The dinner bells have an oval, high domed form with a humped wall, decorated with rich foliate and rocaille engraving and beaded rim. The magnificently crafted handles are richly decorated with foliage bearing figures of red deer. Provenance Bramfield Folly, Suffolk, England circa 1840. Good general condition for daily use! Collectible!
