A (spice) cruet (actually a flat cruet) is a table centerpiece with vessels for salt, pepper, vinegar, oil. In addition to the storage, the flat plate is primarily used for the quick and easy serving of spices for personal seasoning when eating.
Nice spice menu for vinegar and oil. Rectangular body with a high central handle and holders for two bottles. The set consists of two containers made of cut and transparent, colorless crystal glass, with faceted pointed plugs. Frame not marked, around 1920. Good condition.
