Antique mocha / coffee set in 835 / - silver
Extraordinary mocha / coffee set in silver from Hanau around 1880. The basic shape of the objects is reflected in the Rococo art school. The raised surface of the gadronized, shaped corpus creates the impression of movement. Flower and rocaille patterns are attached to the top and bottom, while leaves decorate the feet of the milk jug and sugar bowl. The spout of the jug is designed to follow the organic rocaille motif of the piece. Another flower arrangement adorns the lid of the jug. The jug and the milk jug have smooth ebony handles. All parts have an unengraved cartridge. Trademark: Dutch ZII silver mark for 835 silver of the second class. Silversmith: Storck & Sinsheimer Hanau / Germany around 1880. Excellent condition!
