A butter pot is ideal for gently melting butter and serving butter sauce at the table. The shape of the mini casserole, with a long handle and no lid, is also found among antique cooking utensils. Particularly noble in solid silver with godroned walls and ebony handle.
Beautiful, elegant pair of butter pans. Flat base, slightly godroned wall and handle of black wood (probably ebony). Marked, made by Gottlieb Kurz Schwäbisch Gmünd around 1930. Condition very good.
There are several pairs available, the price is per pair.
