Large antique teapot on rechaud with turned pulls and silver-plated burner, capacity 2 litres, in the so-called Dresden Baroque. Manufacturer Wilkens & Söhne in Bremen, factory number from 1897. In silver 800/-, 1385g, h. 31,5cm, slight signs of age and use.
This antique silver teapot with rechaud is a real feast for the eyes.
The exquisite piece has a capacity of 2 litres and is designed in the magnificent style of the Dresden Baroque. The round, bulbous body of the teapot is complemented by a hinged lid and an elegant handle that add to its charm. The rechaud is equipped with a holder and a plug-in mechanism that allow for easy tilting of the contents of the pot. The four rolled feet of the rechaud stand ensure a secure footing on any surface.
Weighing 1385 g, this teapot was made by Wilkens & Söhne in Bremen and bears a factory number from 1897, and is made of 800/- silver. Although it shows slight signs of age and use, it has an impressive height of 31.5 cm and is sure to add a touch of sophistication to any collection.
