Magnificent spice or salt bowl (saliere) from the late 18th century. Light, playful, classicistic or baroque shape: paw feet, standing on a three-part base, filigree shaped shafts decorated with oak leaf decor and ending in a corded rim. Round glass bowl with diamond-shaped wall and floor rosette.Stamped under the floor with Kronstadt inspection mark, maker's mark "JB", probably for Johannes Benckner, Austria / Hungary 1755 - 93.
