A heart cup is a welcome gift for baptism or wedding. Its name comes from its striking decor: the surface is covered with a dense relief of hearts. The elaborate forging work is usually refined by gilding the inside. For lovers of antiques also a nice gift for Valentine's Day!

Rare antique heart cup in 835 silver. Flat stand, slightly bulged, conical body with folded edge. Surface densely decorated with heart relief. Pure handcraft. Marked, manufactured in the silver factory of Ludwig Neresheimer in Hanau, founded in 1890. Early 20th century, very good condition.
