Wonderful historical Biedermeier necklace with diamond roses and amethysts. The links of the necklace are made of curved, floral shapes typical of the time and are set with diamond roses. They nestle particularly comfortably around the neck. The middle part is set with bright purple amethysts and numerous diamonds of various sizes. The back is made of gold in a 750 alloy, the front is made of solid silver. A movable amethyst in teardrop shape forms a charming finish. The necklace is held in place with a silver pea chain. Made around 1830.
