Antique Pair of Candlesticks in 812/- Silver
A beautiful pair of large candlesticks from the Viennese Biedermeier period circa 1850. Round, ascending base, shaft in the form of a slender baluster between two floral decorated nodi and trumpet shaped candle spout. Spout rim decorated with acanthus ribbon. Marked with the Viennese official hallmark (Radlpunze) for 13-silver and a hardly legible date around 1850. Master's mark hardly legible. Otherwise very good condition - hardly used, with minimal signs of age and wear.
