Antique snuff box in silver. Octagonal body, the sides decorated with enamelled band with floral motifs. On the plug-in lid tortoise shell has been mounted, which has an inlay in silver with a floral motif. Unmarked. The manufacture is unknown, probably Eastern Europe around 1850. Good condition for its age, one silver rivet of the mount is missing. Absolutely collectible!
