Kay Bojesen is one of the most famous designers in Denmark. He started his career with the icon Georg Jensen with an apprenticeship as a silversmith. He then studied at the vocational school for precious metals in Schwäbisch Gmünd and then moved to Paris, where he worked as a silversmith for some time.
Kay Bojesen jewelry from Art Nouveau has become rare and is being collected. Such pieces are usually offered in renowned auction houses worldwide.
Magnificent Art Nouveau brooch by Kay Bojesen. Round shape, decorated with a coral cabochon in a frame setting. The surrounding frame consists of 5 abstract leaves that lie in a smooth surface. The outside is surrounded by a transverse oval frieze. Back with paperback. Marked, manufactured by Kay Bojesen, around 1910. Absolutely collectible!
