Art Deco brooch in 935/- silver with enamel and coral
Karl Karst's factory for gold and silver jewellery was one of the best known in Pforzheim. Karst was not only a producer; he also designed his jewellery himself. His creations from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods are captivating not only because of their excellent design, but also because of the outstanding craftsmanship.
Absolutely rare brooch from the Art Deco period by Karl Karst. Rectangular shape, set with different coloured mat enamel and corals in geometric framing. Backside with brooch. Marked, made by Karl Karst in Pforzheim around 1930. Excellent condition, worth collecting!
