Art nouveau brooch in 900/- silver with enamel
Beautiful elegant brooch from the Art Nouveau period. Abstractly shaped loop elements have been formed into a square brooch and decorated with steel blue enamel (pit enamel- basse waist). In the centre is a round hematite cabochon. Pin catch on the back. Probably designed by Ludwig Knupfer for Levinger & Bissinger. Marked on the back with "Depose" and "900", without maker's mark. Made in Pforzheim around 1910.
