Beautiful Art Deco picture frame from Denmark by the silver manufacturer C. Cohr. In 1921 the production of silver-plated goods began and from the beginning Cohr used the ATLA brand for silver-plated flat and hollow goods. International recognition followed the world exhibitions in Brussels in 1935 and Paris in 1937. H.P. Jacobsen, engaged since 1926, was the leading designer for 40 years. The ATLA / Alp brand shown here was used in 1926, probably designed by H.P. Jacobsen.
