Art Nouveau Coffee Pot in 800/- Silver
The lower corpus standing on a circular base and divided into several parts. One side of the round body decorated with flowing forms of abstract water lilies with foliage. Opposite side without decoration. Vegetable lid with an abstracted knotty base. On the back the discreetly profiled handle with insulators, connected to the body by branchwork. Highly elegant and rare work of the Art Nouveau of solid heaviness, which shows a clear closeness to the formal language of Henry van de Velde. Very good, undamaged condition. Made by Otto Wolter, Schwäbisch Gmünd around 1900.
