In 1922, the couple May founded the jewelry company "Perli" in Schwäbisch Gmünd, which is still known today, and initially produced high-quality glass bead jewelery. The son Peter May later made jewelry with enamel work.In 1972 the company was restructured. Now, the focus was on abstract gold and silver jewelery. In the early 90s, the company was dissolved for reasons of age. Currently works by Perli are in great demand again because of their unique jewelery.This necklace from the house of Perli is in great demand. It depicts a work in 835 / silver and 585 / gold. On four silver links (eight in all), a fanciful, abstract gold work appears. Not infrequently for the 70s and 80s, compounds of the materials gold and silver are a symbol of the times.
