Antique Set of cellars in Silver 800/- with Glass Inserts
Beautiful set from the early Art Nouveau, consisting of three cellars or spice bowls: two smaller and one larger. Oval basic forms, silver settings with rocaille feet gilded on the inside, walls decorated with rocailles and blossoms, rocaille handles. Inserts of colourless glass. Marked with illegible maker's mark, probably around 1880. Condition very good with age appropriate patina, glass inserts undamaged, no chips.
