Wonderful painted figure "The composer". Really lovingly and detailed depiction: The laughing resp. singing figure is standing on a base. The head, covered with grey wig, is leaning to the left, the left leg is drawn up. The man is wearing rococo style clothing: a dark red lined, light yellow jacket with music notes pattern and a jabot. He wears yellow kniee long pants over white socs and black shoes with golden buckles. In the left hand he is holding a conductor´s baton, in the right hand a bundle of sheet of music, which are falling down and covering the whole base. Made in the porcelain manufactory Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanmanufaktur in Thuringia/Germany, marked. Conditon very good.
