Gorgeous five-pieces warming serving dish from England. Oval form, pearl frieze on edges, rocaille-shaped lid handle with spherical decor, curved side handles. Removable lid handle, the lid can be then used as a bowl. Inside two removable inlays: one smooth and one open worked. Flat stand. Marked, made by the firm William Hutton & Sons in Sheffield/England (crossed arrows trademark aquired in 1902 from T & J Creswick in Sheffield). Distributed bythe jeweler James Jay in London, Oxford Street 42-44. Dating: 1902-1904. Condition excellent.
