Shown here is a magnificent set of 11 beautifully decorated soup cup spoons from the early Art Nouveau period. The spoons were made in Germany in 1886, ribbons, vines and leaves decorate the delicate, narrow handles of the silver spoons.
The charming, detailed decoration has been lovingly engraved, as well as the monogram "IJR", which each of these pieces bears on the back.
Made of high quality silver, the soup cup spoons have a length of 18.5 cm and are thus a little smaller and more delicate than the usual soup spoons. In addition, the spoons are marked "ST", which is unfortunately unknown.
