Beautiful shaped spice bowls from the early 20th century. Flat stand, bulging swinging bodies and concave rims. On bowl with domed hinged lid with small knob. High, curved band handles. Walls decorated with repoussage: rocailles, acanth leaves, flowers, shells and shields. Cobalt blue inlays. Inclusive small spoon. Marked, bowls made by Eugene Leclere in Sheffield, about 1915, spoon made by James Dixon & Sons in Sheffield, about 1920. Condition: silver plated parts with patina, small chip on one glass inlay (see picture)
