Antique silver ware from our stock Gorgeous, rich decorated coffee pot, neo-baroqe form. Pear-shaped, gadrooned body on four slightly curved rocaille-shaped foots. Domed and gadrooned hinged lid with a knob in form of a three dimensional rose. Curved, long spout, rich designed handle, composed from several three dimensional rocailles and acanthus leaves. Walls and spout decorated with relief rocaille-medaillons and roses. Base with engraved dedication. Marked. Made probably by Karl Wurm in Brunswick/Germany about the end of the 19th century/after 1888. Karl Wurm was the son of the famous goldsmith Heinrich Wurm in Brunswick. Distributed by Margraf & Co, jeweller's shop in Berlin. Condition very good.
