Beautiful and rare salt bowl from the Baroque epoch, made in Nuremberg. Oval, graded and gadrooned foot, flat bowl with scalopped rim, inside gold plated. Inside of the foot "Tremolierstich" for sampling, outside marked:
City hallmark: Nuremberg
Master mark: (IG/H) inside of a trefoil = Johann Gemeinhart, master 1727-1739
Condition: patina, minimal dints, gold surface with signs of using, museum quality!
