Antique silver flat and hollow ware from our stock

Rich decorated salt and pepper shaker from the late 19th century. Conical foot, egg-shaped body, high domed stackable lid with wide rim, perforated surface and finial. Body and lid decorated with ribbing resp. rocailles and leaves. In the middle of decoration a rocaille framed field, one with engraving: hand holding a scallop. Shape and decor are slightly varying. Different marks: A made by unknown master in London, dated 1872, B made by Josiah Williams & Co. George Maudsley Jackson in London, in 1895. Condition patina and signs of use, due to the age.
