WMF Art Deco Punch ladle silver plated
A typical characteristic of the so-called Martelé - the surface created by the driving hammer - are the impact marks, which are not worked away but left as a decorative element. This technique was popular in the Art Deco period between the world wars, but was taken up again and again in the later 20th century.
Art Deco punch ladle with hammered decoration and bronzed handle. Pear shaped spoon with attached long style and bronzed handle end. Marked with the WMF mark between 1930-1935. Condition very good.
