A pair of beautiful decorated late victorian entree dishes. Bulging bodies and lids with scalopped walls and pearl frieses. Rocaille-shaped, removable lid handles, the lids can be then used as a bowls. Surface rich decorated with engraved ferns resp. leaves. Marked, made by Mappin & Webb in London/Sheffield, about 1900. Trade mark "Princess Plate". Excellent condition!
