A jewelry store founded by Gottfried Ludewig Wilm has existed since 1769 and was later continued by Hermann Julius Wilm (1812–1907) and Johann Paul Friedrich Wilm (1840–1923). In Berlin, Friedrich Richard Wilm, like his brother Johann David, received shares in the father's jewelry store in 1911, which operated under the name of H. J. Wilm and rose to become imperial court jeweler a year later. In 2017 the family business, which still exists today, celebrated its 250th anniversary.
Small ladle from Art Deco around 1925 in the original box from H.J. Wilm, manufactured by the silver manufacturer Wilkens in Bremen. Clear shape, hemispherical bowl. Rounded, three-pass handle end. Excellent condition.
