Beautiful small cylindrical silver box with gilded interior, probably used as a snuff box or pill box. The plug lid and the side wall are decorated with a striped pattern, the bottom is without pattern. It was made in France of silver (small 19th century French hallmarks with boar's head). The box is in pristine but cleaned condition with signs of age and use (see pictures for details).
