Magnificent inkwell from the Art Nouveau period! Massive, removable glass insert with square ground foot and bulged body, high-arched, marked silver lid with hinge. Bracket of the glass insert screwed and removable. Square sterling silver plate with spherical feet and raised corners. Marked, manufactured in London in 1899 by John Grinsell & Sons. Absolute collector's item, museum quality!
