Exceptional salt shaker in silver from the Empire. Rising conical foot, on top an openwork cylindrical body, decorated with rams' heads, garlands and relief band. High cylindrical insert of cobalt blue glass. Perforated scatter cap with knob and bayonet catch. Marked with an unknown maker's mark, probably around 1810/20. Condition very good with age-related patina. No chips on the glass, collectible.
