Rare necklace from the K.K. Kunstgewerbliche Fachschule Gablonz, Jablonec nad Nisou. Many artists of the Wiener Werkstätte received their training here around 1900. Heavily pierced body with arched rim and lush floral decoration, set with mother-of-pearl and gemstones. Delicate silver chain with spring ring clasp. Marked with "GF" in an oval and "control mark" for 935/- silver. Designer unknown, made around 1900. Condition very good with patina. Museal and collectible!
