Splendid art nouveau brooch with window enamel (so-called plique-a-jour) and a chalcedony. Geometric-abstract form, set in the centre with a chalcedony cabochon in a frame setting and two stereotypically arranged floral motifs in green window enamel. With a pin catch on the back. Probably designed by Otto Prutscher, c. 1905. The brooch is signed with the Heinrich Levinger mark "HL", Pforzheim, and "900 Déposé". Collectible!
