Antique Art Nouveau brooch in silver and malachite
Pretty Art Nouveau brooch in silver in the abstract design language of a lyre from the Biedermeier period. Laterally formed representation of upwardly tapering, curved leaves, in the center represented strings made of twisted silver wire, held by a cross connection, which is set with three malachite cabochons. Needle closure on the back. Illegibly marked, presumably and typically Vienna around 1900. One cabochon barely visible, slightly bumped, otherwise very good.
