From our inventory antique silver
The company was founded in 1906 by McKewan & Adie (jeweler, goldsmith and silversmith) and E.S. Barnsley & Co (carton and packaging manufacturer) founded in Birmingam / England. Adie Brothers was run by Percy Adie and then by Tony Adie and Frank Taylor until the Second World War. In the 1960s, the company became part of the British Silverware and closed in 1968.Oval tray with flat mirror, curved edge and partly hunched flag. In the mirror engraved symmetrical decor, partly polished and partly frosted. Made by the Adie Brothers Ltd, Birmingham 1924, condition very good.
