Oval gilded Art Deco box with plug-in lid in 925/- silver by Asprey & Co from London 1924 - King George V. Excellent quality of an Art Deco box in solid sterling silver gilding. Finely hand engraved with monogram "E de L" or "L de E" on top. Fully marked London Assay Office guarantee for 1924 together with the silversmith's mark "A & Co. Ltd" by Asprey & Co. In good nearly 100 year old original condition - great patina, minor wear and no repairs. Collectable!
