Otto Weymann founded his workshop in Waldeck am Edersee in 1932. He was considered a representative of the Bauhaus style. In 1944, the workshop, by then in Kassel, was completely destroyed after a bombing raid. After the war, the workshop initially produced mainly objects for ecclesiastical and public clients. In the 1960s, jewellery production was revived. In the meantime, the workshop is in its 3rd generation with a focus on handcrafted silver jewellery.
