The famous jewelry manufacturer "Perli" from Schwäbisch Gmünd was founded in 1922/23 by Martha May. Martha May studied at the jewelry college in Schwäbisch Gmünd and taught at the famous art college at Burg Giebichenstein near Halle from 1935-36. Her designs, in which she also liked to incorporate other materials such as wood, glass beads, felt or enamel, brought the company a silver medal at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937. The excellent design is valued by jewelry lovers and collectors to this day.
Magnificent, richly openwork bracelet from the time of modernism / brutalism. Solid ring-shaped links cast in silver with a rough surface, decorated inside with rings and shining Mediterranean coral.
