The Lutz & Weiss company was founded in Pforzheim in 1882. The manufacturer produced beautiful and fashionable jewelry, but soon it also developed into a leading manufacturer of silverware and cutlery. After 1945 the company started producing jewelry made of gold and silver.
Magnificent tea strainer from the Art Nouveau period. Geometric handle end with delicate relief decoration in tendrils and acanthus shape. Spherical sieve with a square collar and relief decorations.
Marked, Lutz & Weiss, Pforzheim around 1890. Very good condition, worth collecting.
